How our sealcoating process worksServing the RM of East St. Paul
East St. Paul is known for large residential lots. Homes often sit well back from the road, and circular or side-entry driveways are common, so square footage adds up quickly compared with a typical city lot.
Local overview
Newer developments off Birds Hill Road and Hoddinott are largely asphalt, while properties toward the eastern edge of the RM are more often gravel or a gravel-and-asphalt combination. Asphalt that is structurally sound but visibly grey is generally the point where sealing is worth considering.
East St. Paul is inside our standard service area, with no travel surcharge on either service.

How our gravel grading process worksOn the ground
On a big driveway the section by the garage looks completely different from the section near the road. We quote the whole surface but pay attention to where the wear actually is — the turning area in front of the garage almost always needs more attention.
Many East St. Paul driveways have no curb and just fade into grass or gravel. Without lateral support the outer 6–12 inches breaks away over time. We cut a clean edge and seal to it rather than feathering sealer into loose material.
Rural-style ditches along many roads here mean the driveway entrance carries water across a culvert. If that entrance sits low, it holds water and fails first — on gravel drives that's where grading matters most.
Mature yards with heavy canopy keep the asphalt damp and shaded well into the morning. That affects when we can start sealing, and we plan the day around it rather than sealing over a damp surface.
Pricing
Standard rates apply with no travel surcharge, but expect East St. Paul totals to run higher than a city driveway simply because the driveways are bigger. Sealcoating: $0.45/sq ft recently sealed, $0.50–$0.70/sq ft first-time, $1.50/linear ft crack filling, $399 minimum. Gravel grading: $525 up to 1,500 sq ft through $1,050 for 3,501–5,000 sq ft, custom above that.
Neighbour pricing may be available when multiple nearby properties book for the same service day. Any discount will be confirmed in the individual quote.
